Lockdown meant that many young people missed the chance to go to their first concert or festival.But in 2022 ticket sales increased after two years of negative trend; now you can finally experience live music again. Sweden’s leading concert organizers Live Nation and Luger wanted to talk about spring's wide range of concerts and festivals, and at the same time encourage young people to dare to discover new music.

We combined two different items – the concert ticket and the scratch card – and created a brand new product.

The Shuffle Ticket is a new type of ticket – a scratch ticket that grants you a randomly selected liveexperience. With inspiration from the "shuffle function" on playlists, we created a ticket that wouldattract people to discover new music. For $30 you got two tickets to an event in the three biggest cities in Sweden.

The new ticket was covered in over 75 articles in ten countries with a total reach of over 27 million – and generated massive engagement on social media. The site was visited by over 100,000 people and all three drops sold out within minutes.And most importantly: We helped thousands of people discover the magic of live music.

We all know that parenting is a 24-hour job. And even the most exceptional parent gets tired or distracted. In this campaign for Volvo XC60 — the ultimate family car — we wanted to recognize this and show how the car protects you and your loved ones. Because sometimes, we all need someone looking after us.

In social media, we used an already existing online phenomenon, parent saves, and combined it with our own footage to create a number of humorous short clips.

To break category language, we combined high craft car photography with imagery of chaotic family life.

A common reason people hesitate to start working out is the belief that it takes a long time to see and feel the results. For many, this becomes the biggest obstacle to overcome. And sometimes, it’s more effective to inspire through pure facts and data rather than motivational headlines or detailed product benefits. So, we let the numbers speak for themselves.

Emelie, a student from Gothenburg, agreed to start running once a week for 10 weeks. She allowed us to document her progress using an advanced Garmin watch that she wore 24/7, that monitored her running and health data. For ten weeks, we set up a temporary outdoor portrait studio at the spot where Emelie finished her weekly runs. Immediately after each run, we photographed her and added data from her run together with her general health metrics from the week, which was then published in an ad in Swedens biggest newspaper.

Women are more likely to get injured in a car crash. Partly because male crash test dummies are the standard. And even when a female dummy is being used, it’s often with a scaled-down dummy. As a result, most cars are safer for men.

But Volvo Cars has collected crash data since the 1970s to better understand what happens during a collision – regardless of size, gender, or body shape. This has made it possible for Volvo to design its cars in a way that protects both men and women equally.

In a global campaign called The E.V.A. Initiative, we’re now sharing this research to improve gender equality in all cars. By making it available for anyone to download, we hope to help other automakers to produce cars that are safe for everyone.

Runners are obsessed with sharing their runs on the most popular running app: STRAVA. So we created a visual concept for Craft Social Run where the logo reacts to how you run, and gives you a new way of sharing your STRAVA data.

Running footwear and apparel company Craft is launching the Ultimate Guide to Running: A 240-page long coffee table book containing only two phrases: Right foot. Left foot.

The running world is flooded by books and magazines promoting different truths, ironically turning something as beautifully simple as running into something complicated. This book works as an antidote and celebrates the simple nature of the sport.

The post-run beer is an established ritual of running culture. So Craft Sportswear and Swedish brewery Spike teamed up to make the ultimate post-run beer, optimized with all the extra nutrition, minerals and vitamins that your body needs to recover in the best possible way. Cars are safer than ever before. But for people outside the car, they are getting deadlier. That’s why we wanted to show that the Volvo XC40 is more than a car designed for city life. It’s a car designed for everyone on the road. Not just because of its size, design and smart storage, but because of its City Safety System with features such as Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection.

This campaign is a celebration of everyone we share the road with. Every runner, every cyclist and every pedestrian. Because no matter who you are, the streets belong to you.

In the launch campaign for the New Volvo XC60 – one of the safest cars ever made – we celebrate everything that can happen in life, when accidents don’t. Because sometimes the moments that never happen, matter the most.

During May, the world's biggest half marathon takes place in Gothenburg. There are a lot of guides, tips and strategies out there for how to run it, so with this ad in Sweden's biggest newspaper the week before the race, we wanted to remind people about what really matters: Put one foot in front of the other and you’ll make it. Left foot, right foot.

In 2008, Volvo launched it’s first City Safety system. The New Volvo XC60 is equipped with the latest update and is capable of detecting pedestrians, cyclists, other cars and even large animals, thanks to the advanced built-in camera.

To celebrate the people the system is designed to protect, we put the new XC60 in the hands of Pulitzer price-winning photographer Barbara Davidson, letting her capture moments of life by only using the car as her camera.

Dubbed XC60 Moments, the exhibition takes place at the intersection of art and technology. Shot and curated by Barbara Davidson, using the XC60’s advanced built-in City Safety camera, the exhibition gives a glimpse of life through the eyes of the new Volvo XC60. Moments is not only a novel approach to photography and storytelling. It’s the world’s first photo exhibition shot with a car.

The exhibition premiered at London’s Canvas Studios on the 4th of July.

In our new film promoting both the XC40 and the subscription offer Care By Volvo, we explore the idea that in a society of abundance, the things you own can end up owning you.

And that by not owning things, you are not owned by things.
